Overall, adults, especially females showed much bigger trends throughout the period, while observing a decrease in the last year. In contrast, the percentage of children was noticeably smaller with reaching its peak in 2006
In 2002,women began their trend with 25% ,after which they observed a 7% increase and hit the highest point in a four-year period. Despite starting with 22%, men experienced 6% growth. In 2010,the proportion of both genders consumed fruit and vegetables and experienced nearly similar drops with women 3% more compared with their male counterparts.
By, contrast, figures for children saw mild fluctuations over the period, ranging between 2% and 5%.In 2002,the trend began with 11%, after which it grew 5% in the next four years. However, this was followed by a minimal decrease to 14% in 2010.
