In general, the percentage of renewable energy of Germany and Norway saw an upward trend. While, Australia and Iceland showed a fluctuated trend in the proportion of renewable energy. Furthermore, the data of renewable energy of Norway was the largest in 4 countries.

In 2000, the percentage of renewable energy of Germany started with about 10% and then it continued to increase to nearly 20%. The data of renewable energy of Norway was about 62% in 2000, and then a slight increase to around 65% was seen in the proportion of renewable energy had 2004, it continued to rise rapidly to nearly 80%.
