Overall, Norway and Iceland had the highest share of energy supply during the three years while Germany took the third position, Australia is the least energy sourced country in all the periods. Also Norway and Germany showed upward trends from the beginning of the period to the end while Australia and Iceland demonstrated some fluctuations.
In 2000, Norway and Germany took off with approximately 62% and 12% respectively, they increased significantly to around 65% and 15% by 2004 and was at about 77% and 18% respectively at the end of the period.
On the other hand, Iceland was initially at approximately 50% at the beginning, it rose significantly to above 55% by 2004 before it dropped to around 54 percentage in 2007. However, Australia started off with approximately 7%, it rose slightly to around 9% in 2004 and later dropped a little back to around 6% by 2007.
