Overall, every surveyed country experienced upward trends, albeit to varying extents. Norway and Iceland showed significantly increases to renewable energy, while Australia and Germany demonstrated far less percentage of productions in each year.
Norway rose steadily, starting above 62% in 2000, to finish increasing at nearly among 80% in 2007, maintaining its dominance, while Iceland from 16% in 2004 diminished to 55% by 2007, with the small rise in 2004. Combined output of Australia and Germany lagged considerably behind other countries. Germany increased slowly from 12% in 2000 to 18% by 2007, whereas Australia consistently recorded at approximately 10% with modest rise in 2004.
