Overall, proportion of citizens who are of age 65 and over are steadily growing throughout the period in all three countries, where Germany seems to have the highest percentage of elderly citizen in all years.
In 1980, Germany had the most residents with the age of 65 and over at 15%, closey followed by the UK with less then 15%, and Canada with the least population of 65 and plus with 10%.
Similarly, in 2000, every figure experienced an upward trend where; Germany reached 20%, and Canada and the UK fall behind with equal population of age 56 and more at 15%.
Finally, population with age 65 and more are expected to increase progressively, Germany reaching to 25% by 2030, Canada falling slightly behind, at around 23%, and lastly, the UK following with less than 20% by the end of time.
