The bar graph demonstrates the quantity of energy in megawatts generated by wind in four different countries – India, Denmark, Germany and United States in the given period of 1980 and 2000.
Overall, at the beginning the United States showed the highest rate of generated energy. Later, the Denmark grew considerably and became the largest producer. It is also worth noting that except the United States, all three nations experienced rise in quantity of generated energy.
In 1985, the amount of wind energy generated in USA accounted for 1200 megawatts while Denmark made up one of the smallest productions. By 1990, the USA and the Denmark produced more energy than past, with 1650 megawatts and 450 megawatts respectively. In 1995, Denmark demonstrated a great rise, constituting 1200 megawatts. Although the quantity of wind energy generated in USA decreased to 1600 megawatts, the USA was taking the lead among countries. Finally, in 2000, the Denmark took the lead from USA in produced energy, making up 1650megawatts.
When it comes to wind energy generated in India and Germany, the same scenario can be seen. In 1985, 200megawatts of wind energy was produced in India whereas in Germany it was equal to 400megawatts. By 1990, the quantity of wind energy in Germany was slightly higher than in India, making up 650megawatts and 400 megawatts respectively. However, in 1995, wind power generated in India and Germany was equal, with 800 megawatts to each. Lastly, in 2000, power created in Germany was not quite as high as in India. 1200megawatts wind power was created in Germany while in India 850megawatts energy was produced.
