In general, Mobile phones are the most popular in Italy, while the figure for fixed telephones in there is the lowest. However, it is clearly apparent that Canada has the smallest number of mobile phone users. In addition, Denmark records the highest density of landline users.
Regarding mobile phones, people in Italy record the largest figure at 90 per 100 people, followed by Sweden (around 87), Denmark (about 83) and the UK (approximately 85). Germany presents a moderate number of 70 per 100 users, and the figures for the US and Canada are lower, at under 50 and around 47 users respectively.
Looking at landlines, Denmark has the highest rate at 86 per 100 users, while Italy registers the lowest landline usage among all seven countries, at just above 40 people. The US, Sweden and Canada also display relatively high landline penetration, ranging between 60 and 66 residents. Meanwhile, Germany and the UK follow closely behind, with nearly 60 and 57 landlines respectively.
