Overall, Canada, US and Denmark had more landlines than mobile devices, while Germany, UK, Sweden and ltaly were quite the opposite.
The bar chart shows the amount of landlines and mobile phones owned per 100 people in 3 english speaking countries and 4 European Union countries. To begin, while there was a sharp decrease in mobile gadgets in Canada, landline installation significantly rose. In the US, electronic devices’ popularity escalated exceeding landline phones. Moreover, Denmark saw a similar trend although there was a slight difference between both.
In addition, the mobile phone usage significantly increased and surpassed landlines. Germany used more mobile phones than landlines. UK and Sweden both witnessed progressive growth of mobile gadgets and a gradual decline of landline phones.
