The bar chart presented below shows the annual attendance at Grandville Stadium from 2017 to 2030 for three different types of events. Overall, attendance is expected to increase over the period for all three categories, namely theater, sporting events, and concerts. In addition, sporting events are expected to remain the category with the highest number of attendees throughout the period.
In 2017, sporting events recorded an annual attendance of almost 15 000 people. However, following the improvements in 2020, attendance increased slightly, reaching almost 15 500 people. This trend is projected to continue until 2030, when the number of attendees is expected to rise to almost 17 000.
In contrast, theater and concerts are predicted to record significant increases by 2030 compared with 2017. Theater attendance is projected to reach almost 50 000 people, while concerts are expected to attract nearly 125 000 attendees. In 2017, the theater attracted approximately 10 000 attendees, whereas concerts recorded almost 25 000. Thus, for theater the number of attendees in 2030 is predicted to be almost five times the observed figure in 2017 while for concerts it is predicted to double.
