Jazz and classical music sold albums about 2 million. The 23-31 age group, sales of rock albums exceeded 4 million. Sales of pop decreased to around 4.5 million. Jazz and classical music rise slowly. the 32-45 age group, pop listeners drop sharply to 1.5 million. rock, jazz and classical music sales were around 3 million. pop, jazz, and classical nearly stabled from 46-57 group, while number of rock listeners increased to 4.5 million. the 58+ age group, classical music sales increased from 2.5 million to 4.5 million, while other age groups were around 3 million album sales.
