The bar chart illustrates how the investments in 4 categories varied across five organizations
Overall, B registered the highest spending in all classifications among the 4 examined organisations, especially in building.
In terms of building, the most significant spending was found in B, whose expenditure exceeded 1.6 billion, triple the figures for the rest organizations, which stood at the same level at around 0.5 billion. Another noticeable gap can be seen in staff training, as around 1.5 billion was spent by B, which was slightly higher than A (1 billion), and threefold compared to other organizations.
Regarding machinery and research, about 1.3 billion was expended on the former and 1.6 billion on the latter by B. Interestingly, the funds were allocated evenly to both these categories by A (0.8 billion) and C (0.7 billion). D and E also shared the same investment in machinery (0.4 billion) while investing less than 0.4 billion in research.
