The given bar chart illustrates the frequency of American population eating fast food at restaurants in 2003, 2006 and lastly in 2013. By looking at the statistics it is quite evident that most of the people eat fast food once a week and once or twice a month.
The percentage of people having fast food every day was 4% in 2003 which declined to 3% in 2006 and is inconsistent in 2013. where an 17% individual had fast food several times a week which rose to 20% in 2006 and declined slightly to 16% in 2013. While looking at once a week trend almost 31% population had fast food in restaurant which rose to 33% in 2006 and declining to 27% in 2013. Most of the citizens were having fast food more or less once or twice a month followed by 30% in 2003 and 25% in 2006 respectively.
The graph indicates that proportion of population having fast food few times a year is lowest in 2003 that is 13% and which rose slightly to 15% in 2006 and is consistent in 2013. The trend for nova demonstrate that 5% of people in 2003 never had any fast food which dipped to 4% in 2006 remaining similar in coming years of 2013.
To sum it up, it is quite evident that vast portion of US population eat fast food once a week or and once or twice a month in all three time periods while the least proportion is having it every day as seen in the given trends in bar chart
