Overall, expenditure in China declined steadily throughout the given period.On the other hand, India’s economy fluctuated . Despite this, the total investment in China was higher compared to that of India.
The Chinese economy received just under $80 billion in 2014, which declined slightly to around $60 billion in 2015 and 2016 respectively. China’s economy went down further to just over $40 billion in 2017. However, in 2018 China’s foreign investment funds skyrocketed to more than a $100 billion which is the highest amount compared to any other year. Nevertheless, the economy experienced a sharp decline to a mere forty percent in 2019.
India had a fewer percentage of money flowing in 2014, followed by a rapid growth , exceeding sixty percent in the subsequent year .The economy fell again to 2014 levels in 2017. The economy grew again slightly in 2018 to just over forty percent. India’s foreign economy had been oscillating in the given periods with more money flowing into the country in 2015.
