It is also worth mentioning that the difference between the biggest and the smallest was significant.
Looking in the details, cooking is more popular among women than men 15 and almost 9 average hours per week. There are more women than men who spent more time on washing up, with respective shares of almost two and five average hours per week. More women (about six average hours) spend more time on reading than men do (five average hours per week). Women spending more time on cleaning the house with 5 average hours per week is almost doubled compared to men spending more time on that with approximately 2.5 average hours per week.
On the other hand, watching television is by far the highest proportion of spending more time among men as opposed to women who spend more time on watching television, which accounted for almost 14 and around 12 respectively. As for surfing the internet, the gap is wider in favor of the men (about 13 average hours per week), who spending more time on the surf the internet is three times that in women (about four average hours per week).
Finally, both genders spending more time on gardening take up only around four average hours per week, with respective figures of one and three hours per week.
