Overall, throughout the period, Sweden had the higher divorce figures than Finland from 2011 to 2014 while the numbers in 2015 saw an opposite trend.

In 2011, the divorce rate of Sweden was 43%, then in 2012 it increased slightly to 49%, which was the highest number all over the period. In contrast, the figure for Finland was 38% in 2011, and reached the lowest point of 32% in 2012.

In 2013, the rate of divorce cases in Sweden was 47% and that of Finland was 39%. Then, 41% was the divorce proportion of 2014 in Finland and it remained stable until the end of the period. Besides, there was a constant decrease in the data of Sweden, hit the lowest point at around 38% in 2015.
