The bar graph compares the number of burgers sold by two fast-food joints in four different months of 2015, while the pie chart compares the proportion of consumption of different fast foods in Somecity. Overall, the popularity of both joints varied, and the most popular fast food was burgers.
As seen in the bar graph, Bestburger sold almost 11,000 burgers in August, which was a sharp rise over the previous months. However, sales fell abruptly in the very next month to the initial figures (around 7,000). In contrast, sales for Burgerhunger were slightly more than 7,500, then rising and falling by around 2,000 in the next two months, and touching 10,000 in December. Both fast-food joints saw the lowest sales in January.
The pie chart reveals that burgers accounted for the largest percentage of consumption at 36%, and doughnuts and other fast-food items accounted for 11% and 5%, respectively. Noodles were the second most preferred fast-food item, with a total consumption of 26%, followed by that of pizzas at 22%.
