In fact, figures of these countries continued to rise going to 2010 and accompanied by a drastic increase in 2020, where Chinese and Indian figures increasing from 45 to 75 thousand for the former and from 5 to 45 thousand for the latter. China topped the list with 77 thousand with India coming right after him with 60 thousand students.
Consequently, France and the USA shared the third and fourth places with same amount of students having 5 thousand in 2000. As time progressed, figures of the USA decreased whereas French figures started to increase.
