The bar chart represents the number of male and female overseas candidates enrolled in two courses, namely, the database networking and database core operation at a Canadian college. The data is available for five different countries they are, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Sri Lanka, and France. The overall trend shows that the female students outnumbered the male students students, except for Sri Lanka.

The highest enrollment of students is from China China, with both categories greater than 7. 5%. An interesting observation is that in France France, all the female students are enrolled in the database core option and the male students are divided equally among the two subjects. There is a stark difference seen in the enrollment rate between the two genders in Singapore, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka.

Females in every country except France prefer database networking over the other course, however. However, this trend is a little different in males. Significantly large groups of males prefer database core operation over the other class, but this is not the case in China. In China, the trend is similar to that of women.
