The bar chart provides information regarding the number of downloads registered by three computer packages namely, ActiveX, Java and Net over a five-week period.
Overall, all three witnessed different trends with ActiveX experiencing fluctuations and Java undergoing constant drop whereas Net first dipped gradually and rose back again with no sudden changes.
It can be seen that ActiveX was the most popular in the first week, around 70 thousand users downloading it. In the subsequent 2 weeks, it rose consistently to 110 thousand becoming the only package to reach triple digits. Following this, it pulled back by about 10 thousand the next week. The last week, ActiveX was at over 120 thousand, ultimately reaching its peak.
Regarding Java and net, they were quite close in number with a bit over and under 40 in the initial week. But, it was followed by an increase in gap when Java Rose to 55 thousand and net dropped to approximately 30 which was only widened in the third week with 20 and 60 thousands respectively. In week 4 and 5, they both increased and Java was at 80 thousand while Net managed to reach 50.
