The numbers of visitors to the History Museum and the British Museum experienced the similar trends throughout the period. They had the similar beginning and remained stable in the initial two months, about 400,000, followed by sharp increases to the peak at 600000 and 710000 differently in August. The figure for History and British saw downward trends between August and December to 460000 and 270000 separately at the end of the period.
The number of visitors to the Science Museum stabilized at 400000 as same as the figure for two museum above before increasing markedly to the top of 500000 in September. Then there was a decreasing trend in the figure for the Science Museum, down to 300000 in December.
In terms of the figure for the National Museum, it started to remain steady at 200000 for two months until soaring to the highest point at 390000 in August. After a significant decrease in September, it had fallen back to 200000, and remained stable in the last two months.
Overall, it is clear that the figure for the History Museum became the most popular after August during the period. There were least people visiting to the National Museum throughout the period.
