The bar chart provides a comparative overview of how many people visited sights in a certain European city in 1981, 1991 and 2001.
Overall, it can be seen that the Central Amusement Park was the most popular tourist attraction throughought the period studied, whereas the Central Zoo had the smallest number of visitors.
The Central Amusement Park started off with 25 million people having visited it in 1981. However, in 1991, the figure fluctuated, as in 1991 it dropped to 20 million and then slightly increased, reaching approximately 23 million visitors in 2001. In contrast, the National Park almost doubled its number, since the figure for tourists grew steadily and reached about 17 million by 2001.
It is noticeable that the National Gallery and Science Park accounted for the identical number in 1981 (around 7 million). Nevertheless, the former doubled its figure in 1991, making up almost 15 million visitors, while the latter remained relatively the same. By 2001, the National Gallery had reached 20 million as opposed to the National Park whose figure had slighly declined to 6%. As for the Central Zoo, it was the least popular tourist attraction with around 3 million visitors in 1981 and 2001, and 1 million in 1991.
