The bar diagram illustrates the number of adults in four countries in percentages who utilized the internet facilities from 1999 to 2009. Overall, it is evident that there was a generally upward trend in the amount of mature people using internet albeit to varying degrees over the period of that 10 years.
In terms of country A, it is visble that only arount 10% of adult population was involved with internet usage which is the lowest figure for this particular country. On the contrary, in the year 2009 dramatic increase could be seen reaching aproximately 70% of population. Again, country B demostrated lower rate of internet consumers in the year of 1999 which accounted for around 15% while the number of users reached nearly 75% in 2009.
Additionally, in 1999, about 25% of the adult people of country C was taking the advantages of internet which is greater for that year compared to other countries. On top of that, rate of the users reached its peak just up to 80%. However, the lowest rate was 5% in case of country D users in the year of 1999 while in 2009 sharp rise in the users were also evident.
In conclusion, the bar chart expressed contrasting pattern in the percentage of adults using internet with relative stagnation in the year of 1999 with rates rising drastically in the following ten years suitable for all three countries.
