Overall, the proportion of young men playing basketball, football and hockey were far exceeded that of young women, while the opposite was seen in the figure for males and females taking part in swimming. In addition, there was almost no drastic gap between the rate of adolescents in both genders going cycling.
The percentage of juvenile males in the age of 18-20 opting to play football was over 50%, which was nearly 4 times bigger than that of the female counterparts. Similarly, roughly 33% of the boys participated in basketball, compared to just around 12% of the girls. The same difference can also be seen the rate of the juvenile group whose ages were from 18 to 20 choosing hockey, which was about 12% for males and just under 5% for females.
While 15% of the young man group said that they had gone swimming in the month examined, the figure for those of the women group was approximately 35%. Finally, the rate of males opting cycling was 40%, which was sligtly higher than that of the female counterparts.
