Overall, while men were active in playing sports—basketball, football, and hockey—women spent more time cycling and swimming than men. While the most prioritized type of sport for males was football, females preferred cycling more than other activities; but both groups were less interested in hockey.
According to the bar chart, the percentage of men’s interest in football accounted for about 52%, more than women’s 37%, and indicated the highest point in this diagram. Men also actively participated in basketball and hockey more than females, showing 33% and 12%, higher than those of the other group by 21% and 8%, respectively.
Meanwhile, females actively participated in swimming and cycling more than males. While their percentage was 40% in cycling, in swimming this figure accounted for 35%. These rates were higher than men’s by 4% and 15%, respectively.
