Regarding the top 3 countries having the highest proportion of achieving tertiary qualifications, the figures for males in Switzerland and females in Germany were identical, which was 45 percent, almost twice the female proportion in Japan. Additionally, the percentage for men in the US and Germany stood at 35 percent similarly. In terms of the figure for women, Germany was 5 percent higher than the US, which in turn was 5 percent higher than Switzerland.
As for the other countries, Britain showed an equal percentage of males earning academic qualifications to Germany and the US, with a proportion of 35 percent. Moreover, the male and female figures in Britain were 5 percent higher than those in Japan, at 35 percent and 30 percent respectively.
