The given bar chart illustrates the proportion of workers across five different fields in the UK from 1841 to 2011.
It is obvious that while the percentage of staff in services industry was the highest ratio in the time frame, the proportion of personnel work in energy and water industries were the lowest.
As can be seen in the figures that the percentage of people in services major was dramatically increased to 81% in 2011. However, at 36% was the highest percentage of workers in manufacturing in 1841 but later dropped to 9% in 2011. Moreover , the trend of Agriculture and Fishing almost identical to manufacturing with declined from 22% in 1841 to 1% in 2011.
Another notable trend is the drop of energy and water and the rise of construction fields. A decrease around 2% was witnessed in the percentage of staff in energy and water from 1841 to 2011. In constract, there was a significant increased of staff in construction about 8% in 2011.
