Overall, it is evident that the services sector in 2011 was the dominant industry while energy/water had the lowest level of workforce participation in that year. In addition, the most significant difference was the industry enrollment in the services sector between 1841 and 2011.
At 36%, the manufacturing sector had the highest percentage, while a small minority was 3% in the energy/water sector in 1841. Moreover, the figure for services, fishing and construction took up 33%, 22% and 5% respectively.
In 2011, the figure for the services sector reached its peak at 81%, nine times greater than that of the manufacturing sector. Furthermore, the number of construction workers accounted for 8%, eight times as much as that of energy/water that was the least prevalent among workers.
