The bar charts give information about how males and females employed among individuals aged 60-64 in four nations in the years of 1970 and in 2020.
Overall, despite varying conditions, men employed in USA, Japan and Indonesia experienced an upward trend, compared to women which increased only in Japan and Indonesia, whereas the reverse was true for other countries. It is worth mentioning that men outnumbered women in terms of employment rate, with US being the highest figure.
Focusing on more pronounced figures, the proportions of employed males and females started at around 85% and 78%, and this was followed by a negligible rise to 90% for the former, while the latter observed a decline to about 45%. Likewise, there was a noticeable increase for both males and females, from 75% to 60, and from 60% to 50%, respectively.
Turning to remaining countries, the figures for males and females in Belgium stood at approximately 65% and 79%, a figure that then plummeted to one-fifth and one-half. A reversal pattern can be seen in the percentages of men and women which were 85% and 65% initially, and this was continued by a slight growth by roughly 3% for the initial gender, and to 80% for the second gender.
