Generally,it is evident that social networking platforms were the most popular for younger age groups while radio was major media for age groups from 29 to over 65.In addition,microblogging was the least proportion of citizens of all ages in getting news.
A noticeable point was 80 percent of people from 10 to 29 age group used social networks to get news everyday.With 10-17 age group,the rate of radio was 40 % whereas it was the most popular method with people from 18-29 age,at over 90 %.Besides, the figure of microblogging of 10-17 age group were 20% and 25 % respectively.
Radio still was the major source of daily news for people from 30 to over 65 age groups average was 90 %.There was a decrease trend in the percentage of citizens used social networks and microblogging to stay updated on the news with 20% for social media and 5% for microblogging at over 65 age.
