The graph compares the percentages of people from four different age groups who participated in yoga, stretching, meditation, dancing, and workouts.
In general, yoga and dancing are mostly popular among younger age groups, while older people prefer activities such as stretching and meditation. Additionally, workouts are the least popular sport among all age groups.
The 15-20 age group indicates the highest participation in yoga (35%) and dancing (43%), followed by individuals between 20 and 25 years old with approximately 30% for each activity. As age grows the participation for those types of activities dropped, 28% for 25-30 years old and 22% for over 30 years old.
By contrast, stretching and meditation are more common among older generations. The percentages of 25-30 years old and over 30 years old who take part in meditation is 20% for each, while participants of stretching mostly people aged 25-30 years with 18%. Finally, workouts have relatively low participation levels, only the group of people 20-25 years old shows 8%, whilst the figure for other three groups stays below 5%.
