Overall, the amount of electricity used by households in Korea is the highest in Summer, including June to August. Similarly, all sectors use electricity substantially in Summer.
Regarding Spring and Fall, the percentage of electricity’ all sectors is lower, each making up around 16% and under 15% respectively. Similarly, while the electricity households’ consumption in April accounts for 4 billions of kilowatts, which represents the smallest amount of Spring, that of October is around 4.5 billion of kilowatts.
On the other hand, all sectors use electricity more in Summer and Winter. Over 36% of the amount of electricity is consumed by all sectors in Summer, following this, it accounts for approximately 30% in Winter. Likewise, the amount of electricity used by households is 12 billion kilowatts in August (in Summer) and 8 billion kilowatts in November (in Winter) .
