Overall, all proportions experienced some fluctuations. Being higher than other manufacturing production, Asia experienced the dramatical vacillation over the whole period. In addition, Europe illustrated medium percentage of productions at first, while the rest of the world experienced some significant increases.
In 1840, total manufacturing production in Asia had exactly a half proportion, while Europe’s production in percentage was lower about 10%. At first Asia experienced the highest rate of manufacturing production, however production’s percentage sharply declined between 1840 and 1920. Hitting a low point in 1920, while percentage in Europe reached a peak at exactly 50%. Over the period of 40 years from 1920 to 1960 total manufacturing production rate in Asia experienced some moderately growth, after that markedly improved to nearly 45% in 2000.
At the beginning, percentage of manufacturing products in the rest of the world provided 10%. Additionally the rest of the world experienced lower proportion among Asia and Europe, but experienced some steep rise from 1840 to 1960. In 1960 Europe and the rest of the world had the same total percentage of manufacturing products. After that the both’s rate declined.
