The following graphs illustrates the education level in Glasgow, a city in Scotland in the year of 2010. The figures have been divided by the people who have no qualifications, have attended school and who hold a university degree by their age groups. They have been further categorised by gender as male and female.
Firstly, the bar graph depicts the education qualification levels. Majority of the people who are in the 75 plus age group, do not hold any degree. Meanwhile, people who have a university degree remain around the 70’s mark with least being 25 in the 75 over group. Consistency is followed among people with just a school certificate with the count being 20 across 3 different age groups and the lowest is 3.
It is to be noted that majority of persons who have no qualification are women with 38% and men trailing right behind at 35%. Similarly, the percentage of men having a university degree is 4% more than women. Consistency is maintained at 33% of both genders with a school certificate.
