The bar chart illustrates percentages of individuals from Canada using social networking platforms in 2014 and 2015.
Overall, it is clear that one site users were the highest category both in 2014 and 2015. While the proportion of five platforms users accounted for the lowest rates during the same years. The percentage of people using no sites and using just one site experienced a decline, and the rest (two, three, four and five platforms usage) witnessed a growth.
According to the bar chart, the number of Canadians, who were interacting only through a single site made up 36% in 2014. However, then it plummeted to 28% in 2015. Similarly, a non-social users’ proportion accounted for 22% in the beginning, but then the figure saw a slight decrease for just 1%, reaching 21% in 2015.
On the other hand, the percentage of multiple social networking platforms users showed almost the same patterns, increasing by an average 3%, with the most considerable increase from 12% in 2014 to 16% in 2015 in three sites numbers, and the smallest growth from 23% at the first year to 24% a year after in two sites rates.
