The chart provides data about the purpose of visits to London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool in 2013.

The number of people who chose Edinburgh to spend their holidays were nearly 68 percent, meanwhile London had the second place in this ranking and Liverpool had the third one. There were nearly twice as many people who visited Birmingham for Business as for visiting friends or relatives, however in Edinburgh was the reverse situation. Approximately 18 percent of individuals preferred London for business matters when nearly 7 percent of persons chose it for another reason to travel. Also in 2013 the percentage of people who visited Manchester for holiday, business, visiting friends or for miscellaneous was not very different as in Edinburgh, for example.
