The given line chart compares the amount of time to produce four different types of vehicles – Nissan, DC, GM and Ford in America from 1998 to 2002.
Overall, there were notable shifts in the amount of time spending for manufacture a vehicle, which the manufacture time of all different vehicles tend to increased gradually, except for that of Ford.
On the beginning of the period, there were approximately 37 hours to produce per Nissan vehicle, twice higher than that of Ford ones. Moreover, the amount of time manufactures a DC and GM vehicles were gradually equal, reaching for 34 and 32 hours respectively. However, between 1999 and 2000, the amount of time decreased sharply, especially Nissan and GM vehicles. In contrast, the number of hours spending for make DC and Ford remained stable according the given times.
In the following years, all kinds of transport products followed the similar trend. There were a dramatically decreased in the number of hours to manufacture a Daimer Chrysler, Nissan and General Motors transport product, accounting for only nearly a day in 2002. Meanwhile, the number of hours to make a Ford product tend to slightly increased, reaching over 26 hours in the last of the given period.
