The bar chart below shows financial contributions to a non – profit organization by British individuals over a twenty – year time frame.
The largest amount of contributions given were made by individuals ranging from age 36 to 50 years and 51 to 65 years in 1990 and 2010 respectively. In both years, there was an exact amount of contributions made by individuals ranging from age 36 to 50 years and 51 to 65 years.
It is evident that throughout the 20 year period there was a steady increase for both years, which led to a decline after the highest donations were made for each year. It can also be noted that persons aged 36 to 50 years in 1990 made a sky-high contribution to a charitable foundation of 42% whereas, individuals in 2010, 51 to 65 years, were 4% less than those in 1990.
In 1990 and 2010, British people aged 36 to 50 and 51 to 65 made a similar donation of 35% of money to a nonprofit foundation.
