Overall, telephone, microwave, and CD player were more popular in British resident’s house over the given period while internet and dishwasher were used in lowest level in initial period.
The focusing on the telephone, British population were most interested in to use in their home with 95% in initial year and after 7 years it decreased slightly with 90%. As for microwave and CD player goods started with 80% and 70% respectively. By 2008, they showed the same rate with telephone.
Population did not use much from mobile phone, home computer, and clothes dryer in 2001. The mobile occupied with approximately 26% and increasing to 80% whereas home computer and clothes dryer stood at 35% and 75%. They experienced similar and high changes in 2008 with difference 5%. The rate of internet and dishwasher were low point in 2001. The former made up growth from 10% to 60% and the latter’s rising from 20% to 40% throughout the selected years.
