The bar and pie charts give information about how many people involved in different types of hobbies in terms of gender and age.
Overall, women were leading in all activities except for sculpture – the least popular hobby – it was more common for men. Turning to the ages, individuals who older than 50 years old are more interested in pastimes than younger ones, while percentages for middle age kind of similar.
Looking at the number of people, it is obvious that language was the dominant category, accounting for 40 females that was two times more than men. That was followed by painting and drama with 30 and 20 people respectively for former gender. In contrast, sculpture was chosen more often by male made up 10 individuals, but still being the least preferred type for both classifications.
Regarding ages, older people was involved in hobbies the most, ranking first with 42% of participants and 40-49 group was in the second position, contributing almost two times less percentages. Surprisingly, youngers who are under 20 was not into activities with only 5%. In comparison, middle age was almost the same, represented approximately 15%.
