The bar chart illustrates how many calories of protein are consumed in India, East Africa, Latin America, and North America.
Overall, predominantly animal protein prevails worldwide except for India, which is presumably related to their religious and moral convictions or their beliefs in the divinity of cows.
First of all, the highest rates of protein intake are featured in more developed regions, such as North America and Latin America. North Americans eat 80 calories of protein which consists of 62 calories of protein extracted from meat and 18 calories of other protein sources. Latin Americans’ consumption of protein is twice as small. Their protein nourishment is 32 and 13 calories of animal and non-animal protein respectively.
As for the developing regions of India and East Africa, their rate of protein consumption is relatively low and is approximately 30 calories. Indians eat less animal protein, while meat protein is slightly more popular in East Africa.
