The given first mixed bar chart depicts the percentage of people consuming animal and other proteins across India, East Africa, Latin America, and North America. Additionally, the next bar graph illustrates the average calories intake by people of the same countries.
Overall, it is clearly seen that, both forms of protein as well as calories consumption is highest in North America. Whereas, the minimum intake of the same is seen in India.
In the first graph, the average protein intake is maximum in North America(80%) with animal protein being the major source at about 62%. The second highest protein intake with 45% is seen in Latin America with 32% animal protein intake, and the remaining 13% from other sources. However, the least protein consumers are Indians with just 28%, of which only 13% is from animal origin, but the rest 15% is from other protein foods.
In the second graph, with almost 3500 calories, North America is the top most calories consumers. However, India has the lowest intake at about 2000 calories. Furthermore, East Africa and Latin America consumes approximately 2200 and 2800 calories respectively.
