The table illustrates time spent on different activities on a daily basis by men and women in the UK.
Overall, it is clear from the table that individuals in the UK spend most of their time sleeping. In addition, a stark difference can be noticed in the times spent for housework, with females allocating more time than females.
As can be seen, a typical British male gets a little over 8 hours of sleep each day while women tend to sleep for a longer period of time than men. Meanwhile, men engage in recreational activities including watching TV or reading for 5 hours and 25 minutes which is 32 minutes longer than that of women.
It can noticed from the table that males devote more time than females to work and study, taking up 3 hours and 45 minutes per day. But when it comes to housework, women spend 1 hour and 59 minutes more than men. Likewise, almost twice as much time is spent caring for children as men do
