Overall, snow depth rose across all three years, albeit at different rates. Additionally, the earlier months consistently recorded much lower levels compared with the latter part of the period.
While the measurements for year one and year three experienced a gradual increase from 100cm to 150cm and 120cm to nearly 180cm, respectively, from November to January, the figures for year two initially decreased to about 80cm, and then increased to nearly 140cm over the same period.
By contrast, a dramatic increase was observed during the remaining period. There was the same trend across all three years – year one, year two, and year three – in February and March, with a huge climb to 450cm, 400cm, and 350cm, respectively. The numbers fro year one and year three saw a slight drop to 400cm and 300cm, respectively, in April, whereas year two reached a peak at nearly 480cm at the end of the period.
