The chart compares the money spend by France and UK on consumer goods, in the year 2010.
Overall, while the amount of expenses bared by UK had variations on each product, expenditure by France was relatively low.
Throughout the year, a huge amount 4,50,000 Pounds was paid by UK on cars, the category where the highest purchase made, compared to other products from the both France and UK. Similarly, the British expenditure on books was higher than that of the French, which was around 400,000 and 300,000 respectively. The most significant difference was the expenses on camersas by both countries. While only 150,000 pounds was spend by the French people, the Britishers had spend more than the double which is more than 350,000.
On the contrary, the higher amount of money was paid by France on compuers and perfumes, which is 370,000 and 200,000 repectibely. Comapred to the other products, the expenditure on perfumes by both France and UK was significantly low.
