Band 5: The chart below shows global sales of the top five mobile phone brands between 2009 and 2013. (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 1 Sample)

This graph illustrates the sales of mobile phone by 5 brands ( Samsung, Apple, Nokia, LG and ZTE ) in the whole world between 2009 and 2013. Then, time is described by 2009, 2011 and 2013.

Overall, in 2009 and 2011, Nokia was the highest sales among the other bands, while Samsung stood at the top of the lists in 2013.Futhermore, the lowest sales of Apple occoured in 2009.

To begin with 2009, there was a highest sale at around 425 of Nokia, which has double higher sales than Samsung. LG was just over 120, while ZTE and Apple was 50 and 25 respectively. The sales of Samsung and Apple was significant higher in 2011 than 2009, but ZTE has a little difference between this years. However, the remaining countries’s sales in 2011 were lower than sales of 2009. In 2013, Samsung was the most popular at 450, which was the highest sales of all over the years, while Nokia witnessed at 250, twice lower sales than Samsung. After that, Apple rose gradually to 150 and ZTE remained stable over 50, which was the lowest sales in 2013.
