The bar chart shows information about mobile phone sales worldwide by 5 brands (Samsung, Apple, Nokia, LG and ZTE) in 2009, 2011 and 2013. Units are measured in millions.
Overall, Nokia was the most popular company in mobile phone sales, but later it was overtaken by Samsung. LG also showed a decrease in contrast with Apple whose sales went up and ZTE`s sales remained almost stable.
The most obvious changes on the chart show Samsung who doubled its sales (from 220 millions in 2009 to 440 in 2013) and Nokia, who showed a downward trend and halved its mobile phone sales from around 440-420 millions in 2009 and 2011 to around 220 millions in 2013.
On the other hand, there was LG with over 100 millions of mobile phone sales in 2009 and Apple with nearly 10 million, but in 2013 the sales of Apple overtook those of LG and showed around 150 million in comparison with LG`s nearly 80 million. In the meantime, ZTE remained almost unchanged during the given period and illustrated figures around 50 million.
