The bar graph illustrates that data about world-wide sale of the top five mobile phone companies, namely, Samsung, Apple. Nokia, LG and ZTE between 2009 and 2013.
Notably, Samsung and Nokia have a significance higher sales in general compared to other brands for this four years period of time. In particular, Nokia had the highest sale in both 2009 and 2011. However, the sales declined dramatically towards 2013 from 400 million dollars to close to 200 million dollars. Similar to this Nokia’s trend, LG also witnessed a consistence decrease through 4 years.
On the other hand, the popularity of Samsung has continuously increased, as a result, the sales rose from 250 million dollars in 2009 to 450 million dollars in 2013. Apple also had a stable increment from approximately 50 million dollars to three times of its sales. Interestingly, ZTE witnessed quite stay stable, which is below 100 million dollars for all this period of time. They may need some company’s strategies to compete the others in the future.
