The line graph illustrates the frequency of Australians who went swimming from 2001 to 2003. Overall, people who went swimming one day a week or one or two times per month accounted for the most, with the lowest proportion of swimming daily.
Australians favored swimming once a week the most, the data started from 33% in 2001 and peaked at just a bit above 35% a year later, despite declining to 28% in 2003, while those who were into swimming once or twice a month recorded for similar data in 2001 and 2003, both of which exceeded 30%, although almost 6% decreased in 2002. In contrast, fewer people swam every day, accounting for only 5% of the average throughout the three years, followed by those who never went swimming, which declined continuously from 8% to 6% eventually.
However, many people swam quite frequently within a week, with percentages of 17%, 21%, and 18% from 2001 to 2003, respectively, and the data of the lowest frequency fluctuated from 1% to 2% in the course of the three years.
