The chart illustrates the favourite seasons of Portuguese people categorized into three different age groups of under 15, over 15-64, and 65 and older.
Overall, summer is the most liked season amongst all age groups, whereas Winter ranks as the least liked season amongst all.
Despite being the least liked season, Winter stands equal to autumn in votes in the under 15 age group, both at 11%. However, in the remaining 2 age groups, autumn seems to be liked more than winter.
Spring averages at 30%-31% in all three different age groups, ranking the second-most liked season, just after summer. There is only a 3-4% difference in the 15-64 age group between summer and spring, and a 6-7% difference in 65 and older, the majority under 15 years old holds summer up to the largest percentage of votes, at a 45%.
This shows the vast difference between preference in seasons between age groups as the younger age groups tend to prefer summer and spring, the elder age groups seem to prefer the same but with autumn.
