Looking first at the sales of fashion magazines, sales stood at around 43 million in week one, before declining sharply to approximately 37 million in week two. The figure then decreased further to just 20 million in week three, in week four, it increased substantially to 40 million. It ended at around 58 million in week five, reaching its peak.
By contrast, the sales of music magazines accounted for around 37 million in initial week, a figure that then rose to 48 million in week two. After increasing to 60 million in week three, the sales of music magazines followed an upward trend with 70 million in week four. It ended at 80 million.
As the remaining type of magazines, the sales of sports magazines commenced at approximately 71 million in week one. The figure for the sports magazines increased drastically to 97 million in week two, after that, it climbed further to 109 million in week three. The sales of sports magazines dropped slightly to just 100 million, before growing to 120 million – in week five – which was the highest sales over the given period.
